Cheonan returns as a new frigate after 11 years

The Cheonan, which was sunk and sunk in 2010, was revived as a new frigate. The Navy and Defense Acquisition Program Administration held a launching ceremony for the ‘Cheonan’ at Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan on the afternoon of the 9th. The 2,800-ton displacement frigate is a warship that replaces the 1500-ton class frigate (FF) and the 1000-ton class corvette (PCC), which have been in service for over 30 years in the Navy. The new frigate Cheonan is 122m long, 14m wide, and 35m high.
