By the end of this year, urea water sales are limited to gas stations, and a maximum of 10 liters per passenger can be purchased at a time. In addition, companies that import, produce, or sell urea and urea number must report daily performance-related information by noon of the next day.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Environment enacted the ‘Emergency Supply and Demand Adjustment Measures’ on the 11th and began to implement them immediately. This measure is temporarily implemented until the end of the year, and the export of urea and water is prohibited in principle at the same time as the enforcement.

According to this emergency supply-demand adjustment measure, a business that imports and sells elements that depend entirely on imports into Korea must report imports, use, sales, and inventory by noon the next day.

You must also report the expected amount of imports for the next two months. This is a measure to secure information to predict supply and demand risks in advance.

As with urea, companies that produce, import, and sell urea water must report production, import, shipment, inventory, and sales volumes on the same day by noon the next day.

This measure is temporarily implemented until the end of the year, and the export of urea and water is prohibited in principle at the same time as the enforcement.

The government also issued the first adjustment order specifying the quantity and target of supply, limiting the places that sellers can supply to gas stations.

However, the case where the seller directly enters into a supply contract with a specific consumer (construction site, large transportation company, etc.) without going through the seller is excluded.

The number of urea for vehicles sold at gas stations can be purchased up to 10 liters per vehicle at a time, and up to 30 liters for cargo/van, construction machinery, and agricultural machinery.
