Palestine calls for international intervention to save the peace process

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said today, Wednesday, that it is calling for international intervention in order to launch a quick rescue operation for peace, noting that the crimes and violations committed by the Israeli occupation are tightening the noose day after day, and the ropes around the opportunity to achieve peace and implement the principle of the two-state solution.

The ministry added – in a press statement – that despite the adoption by the Fourth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly 5 resolutions in favor of the Palestinian cause as a new international affirmation of condemnation of the settlements, the Palestinian people are waiting for those and other resolutions related to the Palestinian cause accumulated in the drawers of the United Nations to be transformed into Practical steps to ensure that the people obtain their right to self-determination and their just and legitimate national rights, in implementation of international law and in respect of United Nations resolutions. This means the need to expedite the launch of a quick rescue process for the peace process between the State of Palestine and Israel.
