Beheira – Ahmed Nasra:

Today, Wednesday, the Prosecution of Hosh Issa Center in Al-Buhaira Governorate decided to imprison a teacher for 15 days pending investigations into his accusation of sexual harassment of a female student in a school classroom.

The Public Prosecution’s decision to imprison the accused came after discussing the parties to the incident, witnesses to the evidence, and the receipt of the investigations of the Criminal Investigations Department, in the record No. 5717 of 2021, Hawsh Issa administrator.

Investigations indicated that the teacher had physically harassed the student, taking advantage of her young age and his moral authority over her because she was his student.

The events traced back to a report from the father of the 15-year-old student, R.A., residing in Hosh Issa Center, in the third preparatory class, against M.A., 48, an Arabic language teacher, accusing him of sexually harassing his daughter in the school’s reinforcement classes.

In her statements, the student said that the teacher physically harassed her in the classroom after completing the school reinforcement group in the Arabic language, and felt places on her body after the end of the lesson and her fellow students leaving the classroom, pointing out that she ran out after sensing this immoral behavior from her teacher, while the teacher denied during Investigations charges against him.
