Tunisian Prime Minister Najla Bouden expressed her thanks to the brotherly and friendly countries and the European Union for standing by her country in the face of the Corona pandemic.
A statement issued by the Council of Ministers said this evening, Wednesday, that Boden had held, in recent days, at the Government Palace in Kasbah, a number of meetings with the ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries and the European Union ambassador accredited to Tunisia.
The talks dealt with ways and prospects for strengthening cooperation in various fields, especially the economic field, taking into account the investment opportunities and potentials owned by Tunisia, especially human expertise in the field of engineering, technology and scientific research, which qualifies it to be an attractive pole for investors and a radiator on the African continent and the Middle East.
For their part, the ambassadors affirmed their support for Tunisia during this stage and their support for all initiatives that would improve the economic and social situation of Tunisians, expressing their hope to develop bilateral relations with their countries and with the European Union on the horizon of the upcoming joint dates.
The ambassadors also congratulated the Prime Minister on the occasion of assuming this position as the first Tunisian and Arab woman, wishing her success in her duties.
The Prime Minister received Kuwaiti Ambassador to Tunisia Ali Ahmed Al-Dhafiri, UK Ambassador to Tunisia Edward Oakden, French Ambassador to Tunisia Andre Baran, US Ambassador to Tunisia Donald Bloom, European Union Ambassador to Tunisia Marcos Cornaro, Korean Ambassador to Tunisia San Nehmkouk, Egyptian Ambassador to Tunisia Ihab Fahmy, Italian Ambassador to Tunisia Lorenzo Vanara and Ambassador Turkey in Tunisia Caglar Fehri Şakiralp and China’s Ambassador to Tunisia Zhang Jianguo.
