The National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research announced the monitoring and follow-up of the phenomenon of the conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter, today, Thursday, after sunset, from the Institute’s main headquarters in Helwan.
The institute explained in a statement, that the moon is conjunct with Jupiter (the giant of the solar system) on this day, and we see them approaching in the sky towards the west at approximately five and ten minutes in the evening during the evening twilight (dusk) until their sunset by about eleven thirty in the evening.
And the National Institute for Astronomical Research continued: “A live broadcast of observation will also be made on the institute’s page.”
