Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, inaugurated the activities of the Dubai Airshow, and will continue until November 18, at Dubai World Central, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

This year’s edition of the exhibition attracts the most important leaders of the sector, experts and companies specialized in the aviation, space and defense sectors from all over the world, and witnesses the participation and representation of 150 countries, including 20 countries that participate in national pavilions, and countries that participate for the first time such as the Czech Republic, Belgium, Brazil and Slovakia. The event has military and civilian delegations from more than 140 countries, as well as more than 370 exhibitors.

Timothy Howes, Managing Director of Tarsus Middle East, the organizer of the Dubai Airshow, said: “We are delighted that the Dubai Airshow is back in its most advanced and forward-looking version ever, showcasing the latest world-class solutions, products and services from industry leaders, including aircraft It was presented for the first time at the international level, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency, as well as the axes of innovation and entrepreneurship as the focus of the sessions of the “Vista” events for startups.

It is noteworthy that the activities of the first day witnessed the launch of the dialogue sessions of the “International Association of Women in Aviation”, within the track “Aviation Industry 2050”, with an opening speech by Selda Conoco, Vice President for East and Asia, during which she highlighted the need to achieve a balance between the opportunities available within the sector for both sexes. .

The activities of the Dubai Airshow are held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and this year, the exhibition is expected to attract more than 85,000 visitors over five days, to learn about the latest technical solutions, products and services offered by various entities. The pioneers in the aviation, space and defense sectors, in addition to sharing experiences and knowledge in conferences and discussion sessions held within the exhibition’s agenda, as well as other ground and air aviation shows.
