1229 patients were detected in a medical convoy in Menoufia

Today, Friday, the Menoufia Health Directorate announced the implementation of a comprehensive medical treatment convoy in the village of Amrous, affiliated to the Martyrs Center, which lasted for two days.

The convoy included many medical specialties, including “internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, children, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology, ear, nose and throat, and family planning”, as well as conducting laboratory tests and early detection of diabetes and pressure diseases.

In a related context, Dr. Shaima Shafiq, the coordinator of the medical convoys, stated that 1229 patients from the village were examined free of charge, and the necessary treatment was given to them, and 15 cases that needed surgery were transferred to the hospitals affiliated with the Directorate, early detection of blood pressure and diabetes for 22 cases, and x-rays for 29 In addition, it was decided to conduct health and educational awareness sessions for the people of the village, to educate them about heart diseases and high blood pressure.
