Head of “Representatives Tourism” on Prince Charles’ visit: important and promoting Egyptian tourism

Representative Nora Ali, Chairman of the Tourism and Aviation Committee in the House of Representatives, said that the historic visit of the British Crown Prince Charles, and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Camilla, to many historical and archaeological areas in Egypt, the most prominent of which was the pyramids, the Sphinx, Al-Razzaz House and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and his talk about Egypt Its history and its pivotal role in stability in the Middle East promotes Egyptian tourism and Egypt’s tourism, cultural and political weight, and a message to the world that Egypt is a country of security, safety and stability.

The head of the Tourism Committee of Representatives added that the visit is very important and encourages attracting European tourist delegations, and sheds light on Egypt’s tourist destinations and its archaeological treasures, which will have a strong positive impact in promoting Egyptian tourism globally, and therefore English tourism will flow to Egypt after this visit, which represented 40 % of cultural tourism.

She said that the visit of Prince Charles and his wife to the Egyptian tourist attractions came at an important time with the beginning of the winter tourism season in Egypt, and in light of the developments and discoveries that the Egyptian tourist attractions are witnessing, such as the development of the Rams Road, its opening in a huge global mythical ceremony, the opening of the Museum of Civilization, and the world’s anticipation For the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.​
