The Democratic Party of Korea is scheduled to hold an emergency general meeting of lawmakers on the 21st to discuss reforms for the Presidential Election Countermeasures Committee. It is noteworthy whether ‘Lee Jae-myung’s predecessor’ can pull out the ‘complete renewal’ card and get out of the stagnant state of approval ratings.
The Democratic Party decided to discuss the plan to renovate the leadership team through the National Assembly at 4 p.m. on the same day.
In an interview on YouTube the day before, CEO Song Young-gil said, “I will consider delegating all powers on the renewal issue to Candidate Jae-myung Lee. We need to ensure that the will of Candidate Jae-myung Lee can be implemented,” he said.
The party leadership is expected to bring to the National Assembly an agenda that grants full power to appoint candidate Lee Jae-myung as a former captain. There is a possibility that the outline of a specific reform plan will be revealed.
Candidate Lee said the day before, “The previous captain and the party are big but do not take care of their work properly. I will start all over again,” he said, “we need to achieve speed and unity like the Mongolian army.”
