Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate for the People’s Strength, is running a rental offensive with a ‘two-track strategy’. Candidate Yoon himself is concentrating on criticizing the Moon Jae-in administration’s policies in general, including real estate, jobs, and finances. At the same time, spokespersons, who are the ‘second mouths’ of Candidate Yoon, continue to highlight the ‘Daejangdong suspicion’ by targeting Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung. The policy is the strategy of Candidate Yoon and the spokesperson for the negative war. It is interpreted as an intention to clarify the anti-Moon-jae color in the public welfare policy field, where the public has a high level of sensitivity, and to complement the policy limitations of ‘Prosecutor Yoon Seok-yeol’, which has been considered a weakness.

On the 21st, Candidate Yoon posted an article on social networking service (SNS) with the title, ‘The Moon Jae-in government is a fake job government’, criticizing the government’s job policy. Candidate Yoon pointed out that although the number of jobs increased, part-time jobs and public jobs increased, and the number of full-time workers decreased. Candidate Yoon used expressions such as “The Moon Jae-in government is not a job-creating government, but a job-destroying government” and “The face of the Moon Jae-in government consistent with ‘job make-up’ and self-congratulations.”
Candidate Yoon criticized the passport’s real estate policy by posting an article titled ‘real estate talent sang by arrogance and self-righteousness’ on SNS the day before. Referring to the government’s ’11/19 Jeonse Measures’, he criticized “a housing disaster occurred, far from providing stable housing for the middle class,” and pointed out that it was a “predicted disaster” referring to the Democratic Party’s enforcement of the 3rd lease law. Candidate Yoon promised to loosen restrictions on real estate-related loans and activate transactions, saying, “I will never go one-way.” It suggested the opposite direction to the real estate policy of the Moon Jae-in government.
Candidate Yoon is consistently implementing an anti-moon Jae-in policy through social media and media interviews. They are constantly arguing over policies in general, including the re-promotion of the halted nuclear power plant construction and the possibility of breaking the 9/19 inter-Korean military agreement. It is a strategy to solidify the axis of anti-munism solidarity through the anti-moon Jae-in policy. At the same time, he came into politics after serving as a prosecutor for 26 years, and as he revealed his weaknesses in the policy field in various debates, it is interpreted that he intends to compensate for them.
Two other “mouths” of Candidate Yoon, Lee Yang-soo and Kim Byeong-min, are attacking the allegations of large-scale coma. The two spokespersons made comments over the weekend on three allegations of large bowel movement. Candidate Yoon is focused on the policy field, and spokespersons appear to be in charge of the attack on the Daejangdong allegation.
Spokesperson Kim Byung-min, in a commentary on the same day, mentioned that the chief prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office investigating the suspicion of large intestine was replaced, and said, “It is no longer possible to proceed with the normal investigation. The special prosecution must begin before the evidence disappears,” he said. In a commentary the previous day, Spokesperson Kim mentioned that Lee Jae-myung’s aides had received an apartment in Daejang-dong, defining it as a “riven cartel” and calling for the introduction of a special prosecutor. Senior Spokesperson Lee Yang-soo attacked in a commentary the previous day, saying, “Candidate Jae-myung Lee keeps saying this and that and putting conditions on the special prosecutor and dragging time.”
Candidate Yoon’s side sees public welfare policies such as real estate and suspicion of large-scale robberies as two key variables that will determine the outcome of next year’s presidential election. An official from Candidate Yoon’s side said on the phone, “There is no policy that the Moon Jae-in administration has done well. Among them, the real estate policy has already left the public sentiment,” he said. A moderate-minded opposition party official said on the phone, “Even in the early days of the People’s Power primary, it was not determined on which side of the issue the Daejang-dong suspicion was negative, but as time goes on, it is acting as a negative factor for candidate Lee Jae-myung.”
