President Moon Jae-in appointed Vice Minister of National Intelligence Park Seon-won, head of the Planning and Coordination Office of the National Intelligence Service, as the first deputy director of the National Intelligence Service on the 26th, and Cheon Se-young, director of the anti-aircraft investigation bureau of the National Intelligence Service, as the second deputy chief, Park Soo-hyeon, chief of public communication at the Blue House, announced on the 26th. Noh Eun-chae, Director of the National Intelligence Service, was appointed as the head of the National Intelligence Service’s keynote office.

The new Deputy Director Park is an expert on North Korea and international politics, who has served as a secretary for unification, foreign affairs and security in the Participatory Government and the Consul-General in Shanghai, the Blue House explained. The new deputy chief Cheon Se-young is an anti-aircraft investigation expert who has been devoted to the investigation since he was appointed in 1992.

Noh Eun-chae, the new chief keynote officer, is evaluated as a person well-versed in the internal situation after working in the fields of scientific information, counterintelligence, and audit of the National Intelligence Service, as well as the head of the North Korean department. The Blue House plans to appoint them on the 27th.
