After Saudi Arabia’s decision, the head of the labor representation office in Riyadh: Good news for these groups

Labor Attaché Ahmed Ragai, head of the Labor Representation Office in Riyadh, affiliated with the Ministry of Manpower, revealed the numbers of Egyptians who have benefited from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s decision to open direct flights to Egypt, as of one o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

Ragaei told Masrawy that the number of beneficiaries of the decision is estimated at about one million and 600,000 Egyptian workers, who were not included in the previous exemption decisions, and they are: medical staff, faculty members in Saudi universities, teachers, and workers in Saudi factories.

He pointed out that the decision coincides with the decision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to extend the validity of visas for workers who are currently outside Saudi Arabia until November 30, as well as extending the residency of those whose residency ends until this date.

And the Saudi Ministry of Interior had announced that direct entry to the Kingdom from (6) countries would be allowed without the need to spend (14) days outside it, with the implementation of institutional quarantine for a period of (5) days, starting from one o’clock on Wednesday morning, corresponding to 12/1/2021AD.

It was decided to allow direct entry to the Kingdom from the following countries without the need to spend 14 days outside it before entering, and the list of countries came to include: (Egypt – Indonesia – Brazil – Pakistan – Vietnam – India).
