Barcelona indicated that the trio are in good health, but they are subject to medical isolation at home.
Barcelona had confirmed, on Wednesday evening, that the tests for the Corona virus that the French duo Othman Dembele and Samuel Umtiti underwent, in addition to the rookie player Jaffe, had positive results.
Last week, it was revealed that the Barcelona quartet, Clement Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Dani Alves and Alejandro Balde, had contracted the virus.
It is noteworthy that Barcelona is currently ranked seventh in the Spanish League standings with 28 points, 4 points behind the fourth place that qualifies for the Champions League next season, and is 18 points behind its traditional rivals, Real Madrid, the leaders.
The “Royal” condition was not better than Barca, as it was announced that 4 players from his team had contracted the virus, namely, Belgian goalkeeper Tibo Courtois, Uruguayan Fede Valverde, French Eduardo Camavinga, and Brazilian Vinicius Junior.
In turn, Atletico Madrid announced that its Argentine coach, Diego Simeone, and 4 players were infected with Corona.
Atletico said in a statement on its official website that Spaniard Koke, French Antoine Griezmann, Portuguese Joao Felix and Mexican Hector Herrera were infected with Simeone.
Atletico explained that Simeone and the team quartet do not suffer from any symptoms and are currently subject to sanitary isolation in their homes, in strict compliance with the instructions of the health authorities.
