Writer Abdel Latif Wahba, a journalist specializing in cabinet affairs, clarified the most prominent files that were raised in the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers headed by Eng. Mostafa Madbouly, today, Thursday.

Wahba said, during a telephone interview with the journalist Ahmed Kiwan, presenter of the “Khabar Al-Youm” program, broadcast on the “Extra News” channel, this evening, Thursday, that the meeting reviewed a report on the next projects launched by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi at the level of Upper Egypt governorates, pointing out that The Council of Ministers saluted President Sisi for those projects that would develop Upper Egypt economically and socially, in addition to placing Upper Egypt on the state’s plan regarding the equitable distribution of investments across all governorates of the Republic.

And journalist writer Abdel Latif Wahba added that the Cabinet stressed, during its discussion of the report of the Ministries of Social Solidarity, Trade and Industry, the need to hold permanent exhibitions of handicrafts and heritage in Upper Egypt, stressing that the development of these crafts would empower women in Upper Egypt and encourage young people to set up craft projects.

The Council of Ministers, in its meeting today, also discussed raising the degree of preparedness, especially in the coastal governorates, to face the wave of bad weather and heavy rain, based on the report issued by the Meteorological Authority and directed to the Crisis Room and Central Operations in the Council of Ministers.
