Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung and former Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon will visit Gwangju on the 5th. It is interpreted as a move to raise the approval rating of Honam by using former CEO Lee, who has high support in Honam, as Gori.

The Democratic Party’s election committee will hold the ‘first vision meeting of the National Vision and National Integration Committee’ at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju this morning. The event will be attended by former CEO Lee Nak-yeon, who served as the co-chair of the National Vision and National Integration Committee.

Candidate Lee is expected to present a national vision and integrated message at this event by listening to the opinions of participants, including those involved in the May 18th event, workers for win-win jobs, cultural artists, and farmers.

Candidate Lee plans to visit the Honam Climate Change Experience Center at the Damyang Eco Center in Jeollanam-do to reveal the plan for overcoming the climate crisis and carbon-neutral policy. Next, they visit the Gokseong Nonghyup Agricultural Cooperative Distribution Center to encourage local farmers and take a tour of the work site.
