Today, Wednesday, the people of Burj Al-Burlus in Kafr El-Sheikh mourned the body of a fisherman who drowned in the Mediterranean waters on the coast of Gamasa city in Dakahlia Governorate, after a boat he was working on sank as a result of colliding with another, days after 4 fishermen drowned in a similar accident.
The body of the deceased fisherman arrived in his hometown of Burj Al-Burlus, coming from the mortuary of Ras El-Bar Hospital in Dakahlia Governorate, after a decision was issued by the Public Prosecution to authorize the burial of the body after taking legal measures regarding the sinking of the boat. And the security authorities at the Burullus Police Station had received a signal from the Dakahlia Security Directorate stating that they had monitored the sinking of a boat belonging to the fishing port of Burullus center called “Prince Hassan”, after it collided with another boat called “Barakat Abu Sharif”, belonging to the same homeland in Burullus in the Mediterranean waters in the Mediterranean Sea.
