Korea Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering turns to a deficit of 1.38 trillion won… “Normal wage judgment due to rise in steel prices”

Korea Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (Korea Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering) recorded an operating loss of 1.38 trillion won last year, turning to a loss compared to the previous year. The company recorded an operating loss of KRW 1 trillion as large-scale provisions were set for the rise in steel prices and the ruling on the loss of ordinary wages. Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings achieved the highest performance since its conversion to a holding company in 2018 thanks to good performance in the oil refining division (Hyundai Oilbank). Korea Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering recorded 15.49 trillion won in sales last year.
