Syria and the UAE agree to sign a memorandum of understanding to archive Syrian artifacts

The Syrian Minister of Culture, Dr. Lubana Mushouh, agreed with the Emirati Minister of Culture and Youth, Noura Al Kaabi, to sign a memorandum of understanding to exchange experiences and support, including in the field of archiving Syrian artifacts in light of what they were exposed to during the terrorist war on Syria.

During their meeting today, Monday in Abu Dhabi, the two sides reviewed, according to the Syrian News Agency, ways to develop cooperation relations between the two sides in the cultural fields, including antiquities, music and the Arabic language, stressing the importance of Syrian antiquities as a project of great importance. .

The two sides stressed the importance of the Arabic language as part of the Arab identity, which makes preserving and developing it to become more flexible a very urgent matter.

The Syrian Minister of Culture presented the efforts of the Ministry of Culture to maintain the continuity of cultural work despite the war on Syria and the unjust siege imposed on it and its people.
